Our school boasts a fabulous nature playground and opportunities for local community excursions to the library, fire department, playgrounds and post office.
We have large classrooms with easy access to the outdoors, windows for watching nature, a chapel for our christian lessons and a large indoor gross motor space.
Our teachers plan child focused monthly curriculums based on children's interests, current happenings and MA Early Childhood Standards.
Requirements for candidates:
Creative, motivated, nature loving teachers to join our team and have fun every day! Teacher candidate must be EEC Certified, have experience and educational training in ECE.
Teacher Assistants must have a love for children and willingness to learn on the job.
Degrees in Early Childhood Education a plus!
Responsibilities:
Candidates should be skilled in classroom management and organization, curriculum planning, conducting child assessments and excellent communications skills.
Candidates should be able to interact with children outdoors, indoors, on the floor as well as be able to lift small children.
Compensation and
Benefits:
Pay commensurate with experience and education.
Full-time status is 30
hours in order to receive benefits.
Float teachers cover breaks and planning time.
Afternoon staff work with full-time teachers.
All employees accrue sick time.
